In 2011 year CPS was cutting summer program funding by 70%, and while working with Chicago Architecture FoundationI I proposed a crazy idea to pay 15 teens to visualize the South Shore neighborhood inside of an empty storefront. They bought it. Now the community has a tourist center. here's a link to a separate video for the ribbon cutting.
