In the fall of 2010 I began managing a program of artists from Chicago Art Department as the Art Department for Perspectives Charter School’s Rodney D. Joslin Campus, leading a monthly art program for their middle and high school students. CAD teaching artists meet with a different grade each month, leading a group of 40-60 teens through art making practices, producing pieces to install. Over the course of the year I led over 50 teachers who worked with the entire school (over 400 students), who taught and/or assisted with offering 30 one-day art classes.

Here is an example of one of the student projects, taken from an animation class taught by Chuck Pryzbl and Edyta Stepien.
